Anglia Indoor Kart Racing has been established for more than 29 years. During that time we have earned a reputation for providing the finest high-speed entertainment in the area. With our indoor racing karts and exhilarating circuits, we bring the thrills of motorsport to all adrenaline-seekers.
Following the recent government announcement regarding Covid-19 it is with great sadness that we have no choice but to temporarily close the centre with effect from Saturday 21st March. We will be monitoring emails during this time but please bear with us.
Our Karts are easy to drive, with no gears or clutch pedal – simply brake or accelerate! Our fleet consists of kubz karts, cadet karts and adult karts.
Kubz Karts (5-7yrs): Battery operated for use on our kubz mini circuit
Cadet Karts (8yrs+): 6hp 200cc petrol engines – with the capability to restrict speed for beginners and an adjustable seat position to accommodate children from 127cm (4ft 2”) in height.
Cadet/ Junior/Adult: On our fantastic new upstairs circuit drivers get to experience our state of the art fleet of electric karts. The Biz Ecovolt karts are super responsive but also have additional safety features making them ideal for all drivers from complete beginners to experienced racers. With sliding seats and adjustable pedal system, the kart offers complete flexibility and the De Haardt speed control system gives the operator absolute control over the maximum speeds in which the karts can operate. An innovative safety feature only possible using electric technology.
Adult Karts (16yrs+): We have just invested in a new main fleet karts. These karts are Sodi SR5 model with a 270cc Honda LPG Engine. The karts were purchased with support from the New Anglia Growth Hub Small Grant Scheme, part funded by the European Regional Development Fund. Our Monday night fleet has been replaced with the Biz Evo model with 6hp 200cc LPG engines – both models have the capability of reaching speeds of up to 40mph making them the fastest indoor karts in the region.
Our professionally-designed racing circuits provide all the challenges of a full size circuit and is checked annually by the National Karting Association.
“Get ready for a lap of our exciting multi level downstairs circuit……….”
Accelerate hard down ‘Hanger Straight’ – the fastest section of the circuit – and on through the adrenaline-boosting ‘Monaco Tunnel’. Keep your nerve as you drift out of the tunnel onto a short straight, before the sharp and tricky ‘Druids Hairpin’. Make sure your pedal is flat to the floor for the up ramp into the thrilling ‘Aqua Minerali’ hairpin bend of the challenging flyover, before feeling the excitement of the high-speed down ramp that propels you into the technically-demanding ‘Brooklands Corner’, and onto the finishing line!

Adult Karting – We fully brief our adult karters, but we do expect them to adhere to our stringent driving terms and conditions and understand that they are driving entirely at their own risk.
We provide protective race suits, helmets and gloves for all drivers. Balaclavas must be worn and these can be purchased in the centre for £2 each if you do not have one. Drivers may bring their own full-face helmets. All drivers must be of good health and not under the influence of alcohol or drugs. We are a founder member of the National Karting Association (NKA). The National Karting Association ensures stringent annual safety checks are made on the circuit, karts and all safety procedures associated with indoor karting.
